Russian aggression against Ukraine has shown that access to energy is a strategic, vital value – for the state, its citizens and the economy.
Świnoujście is an ideal place to reflect on the energy security of Poland and the region. It is home to an LNG terminal, which transports natural gas to Poland and Ukraine.
The West Pomeranian Voivodeship, taking into account energy consumption compared to renewable energy production, is the Polish leader in energy self-sufficiency, with a rate of over 120%. The national average is 28,5%.
On the Baltic Sea, Polish energy companies are investing in nuclear energy, offshore wind farms, and building natural gas storage facilities.
During the 18th BBF we will discuss energy sovereignty and cooperation, the perspective of Ukraine, the role of local governments in promoting energy efficiency, and the opportunities offered to entrepreneurs by the Ukraine Facility and the support of PFR, BGK, KUKE, ARP, PAIH and PARP.
On May 11 and 12, 2026, we invite you to Radisson Blu Resort Świnujście!
