In 2024, the importance of this national holiday is even greater. Two years of hard war, physical fatigue and suffering of people, military difficulties and problems in the supply of weapons and ammunition, geopolitical challenges and disputes with the closest partners - all this weighs on Ukraine and Ukrainians. Regardless of the misunderstandings that have arisen in Polish-Ukrainian relations, we want the celebration of Ukraine's greatest national holiday to be an opportunity to show the strong ties between both countries, friendly relations between our nations, as well as our unity in the fight for a free future. Independence Day is also an opportunity to once again express thanks and pay tribute to Poland and Poles for supporting Ukraine in this difficult time. Let's be together on this special day!
