Registration for the European Economic Congress 2026 is now open. The 18th European Economic Congress (EEC 2026) is the most important business event in Central Europe, annually hosting over 13,000 participants and 1300 speakers – entrepreneurs, government representatives from Poland and abroad, local governments, NGOs, European Commissioners, experts, and academia. This year's edition will take place from April 22-24, 2026, at the International Congress Centre and Spodek Arena in Katowice. Registration is now open, and the organizers have announced a detailed program.
The Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce is an Institutional Partner of EEC 2026.
Nearly 220 sessions, 19 thematic tracks in 6 themes – this is how the agenda of the 18th edition of the European Economic Congress is summarized in numbers. The EEC 2026 program will focus on the key challenges facing the European and Polish economies – energy and climate transformation, resilience and security, competitiveness and sovereignty, digitalization and technological trends, the geopolitical role of the EU, as well as the role and competences of humans and the quality of life.
For years, the European Economic Congress has provided a platform for open dialogue between business, public administration, academia, and social organizations. It is a forum for the exchange of views and experiences, bringing together company leaders, decision-makers, experts, and market practitioners to collaborate on solutions for the economy in a dynamically changing environment.
The theme of this year's edition is: Power of Dialogue. Dialogue is crucial now. In the face of global tensions, transformation, and accelerating technological change, conversations across divides are needed.
"The global shift in power means we must find our path to strengthening, both European and Polish. In times of uncertainty and many variables, we all feel the need to discuss the economy and its future. The very comprehensive and comprehensive congress program, which we have just publicly announced, provides a platform and space for analysis and drawing conclusions in strategically key areas: from energy security, through defense, investments and local content, digital challenges, to civilizational changes and the perspective of humanity as the subject of a specific economic and technological revolution," says Wojciech Kuśpik, President of the PTWP Group, initiator and organizer of the European Economic Congress.
