On December 15, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Ukrainian state budget for 2021. Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko called it a “budget of opportunities.”
The budget law envisages revenues of UAH 1 trillion 92 billion, expenditures – UAH 1 trillion 328 billion, the budget deficit will amount to 5,5 percent of GDP.
The average annual dollar exchange rate in 2021, on the basis of which the state budget is calculated, was set at 29,1 UAH per 1 USD.
The adopted budget forecasts GDP growth in 2021 at 4,6%, consumer inflation at 7,3% and the public debt to GDP ratio at 64,6%.
