Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk

February 7, 2026. By order number 12 of January 29, 2026, the Prime Minister established the Steering Committee and established the rules for organizing the fifth edition of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) in Poland.

The Committee is an auxiliary body of the Prime Minister.

The Committee's tasks include:

  • development of the Conference assumptions;
  • ensuring coordination of cooperation between government and local government administration;
  • developing a method of communicating about activities related to the Conference;
  • ensuring coordination of cooperation with foreign partners, in particular with Ukraine and the European Commission.

The order states that "The Committee shall consist of:

1) chairman – minister responsible for economic affairs;

2) vice-chairman:

a) the minister responsible for state assets,

b) Chairman of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine,

c) coordinator for the organisation of the Conference – secretary of state in the office serving the minister responsible for state assets.

The order lists the ministries whose representatives will serve on the URC Steering Committee. The URC Steering Committee will also include representatives from the Industrial Development Agency, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, the Export Credit Insurance Corporation, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, and the Polish Development Fund.

The secretary of the committee is a person appointed by the minister responsible for economic affairs.

URC 2026 will be held in Gdańsk.
